This lecture introduces resilience thinking approach as a transformative heuristic and practical framework for navigating today’s complex sustainability challenges. Grounded in Transdisciplinary Epistemic Practices (TEPs) and systems thinking, the session provides scholars and practitioners with tools to better understand, design, and lead adaptive and transition process through speculative thinking across disciplines, sectors, and scales based on different case studies developed at Pratt Institute at the undergraduate and graduate level at the School of Liberal Arts and Science and the School of Architecture.
