Position opening at FFA BUT: Academic Staff Position in the Painting Studio 1, app. deadline 27 August 2025
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology (FFA BUT) is offering an academic position (at the level of Assistant, or Assistant Professor)* in the Painting Studio 1, with an expected start date of 15 September 2025. Within the studio, up to one full-time position (1.0 FTE) is available.
Job Description
- Cooperation in the pedagogical leadership of the studio and ensuring its operation,
- Providing feedback to students, including supervising and reviewing Bachelor's and Master's theses,
- Monitoring developments in the field of art education and integrating innovative techniques into teaching practice,
- Participating in the conception and direction of the studio within the Fine Arts degree programme,
- Participation in the artistic and research activities of the faculty.
Requirements
- A university degree (minimum Master’s),
- Proficiency in English at a communicative level,
- Organisational and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team,
- Pedagogical skills and experience in the field of art and/or design.
