Walk and workshop at Planýrka, 21 June 2025 10:00
On Saturday 21 June 2025 at 10:00 we invite you to a walk and workshop at Planýrka. Come and discover an area of unregulated lush greenery and wetland rich in biodiversity, a site long unspoilt by urbanisation, an island within the city and yet so on the edge. The 360+ Lab collective (FFA & FA BUT) invites you to the first of a series of guided encounters at Planýrka. Meet in front of the Lužánky swimming pools.
Planýrka is a large hillside belonging to the Brno-Královo Pole district, located north of the centre of Brno. A shopping centre, swimming pools, a hotel, the remains of a football stadium, but also unregulated lush greenery, wetlands, rich biodiversity, all this is Planýrka. In addition to natural processes, the site has long been influenced by urbanisation, market plans and complex ownership relations. On the walk we will explore together the interspecies relationships that arise in the area. What makes Planýrka unique and how can we think about its development with regard to vice-non-human factors?
Programme will be held in Czech.
The project takes place within the framework of specific university research at FFA.
