Accompanying programme to the Personal Mythologies exhibition, 25–26 Aug 2026, Galerie FaVU
We invite you to Galerie FaVU (FFA Gallery) for a two-day accompanying programme to the Personal Mythologies exhibition, featuring a workshop, a guided tour and a concert. The programme will begin on Tuesday, 25 August 2026 at 18:00 with a creative writing workshop Creating Characters of Otherness led by Nikoleta Radišić. The artist’s research practice focuses on connecting creative writing with emotional wellbeing and self-regulation through the creation of characters representing otherness. The workshop focuses on determining “the Other” in ourselves - something the psyche rejects about itself and projects onto others therefore blocking true connection and belonging. Through collective discourse we will determine some traits of this otherness and try and transform them into characters, stories or poems… Everyone is welcome to bring their own notebooks/papers/pens/a favorite trinket or nothing at all. Either individually or in little groups, depending on your comfortability - the goal is to relativize these characteristics and ultimately overcome them. On Wednesday, 26 August 2026 at 18:00, a guided tour of the Personal Mythologies exhibition will take place with the exhibiting artists and curator. The tour will be followed by a concert by anxious millennial at 19:30.
Anežka Součková – anxious millennial, creates guitar-based slacker music and produces in GarageBand, because when you have a barrel organ in your cottage, you can stay in the cottage – or something like that. She completed her master’s degree in the Intermedia Studio and the post-mag programme at the Faculty of Fine Arts of BUT, with two music films. She is one third of the solarpunk grrrlband The Ovulation, together with Klara Wodehn and Cera. She believes that tower blocks will become covered in greenery, trees will grow fuller, and one percent will no longer be one percent.
