FFA SUMMER SCHOOLS 2026: Summer School of Interaction – TouchDesigner and the Body — Applications Open Until July 3, 2026
FFA Summer Schools offer an opportunity to spend part of your summer creatively. Through these summer schools, you will learn about artistic techniques, develop your creative skills, and meet interesting people. FFA Summer Schools are open to the general public, beginners with an interest in and passion for art, as well as those interested in future study at art schools, who can familiarize themselves with the FFA environment and use the summer schools as part of their preparation for entrance exams.
SUMMER SCHOOL OF INTERACTION – TOUCHDESIGNER AND THE BODY
The summer school is intended both for practicing artists and designers, as well as for the general public. During the course, participants will learn to create interactive works that respond in real time to the movement of hands, faces, and the entire body. The course focuses on the software TouchDesigner, which is currently a leading tool in the field of interactive art and design. Participants will become familiar with its basic principles and will have the opportunity to experiment with controlling visuals using only a webcam and their own body.
In the first phase, participants will learn the basics of the software. In the second phase, they will work on a shared assignment focused on interaction. In the final phase, they will create their own individual project. The course also includes work with interactivity using MediaPipe. The acquired knowledge can be applied in artistic or design practice as well as in personal creative development.
