Workshop Tu y/Ojo (You and I/Eye) POV4, 23–24 April 2026, FFA
Tu y/Ojo POV4 is part of a series of video works by adO/Aptive that will take the form of a 2-day workshop at FFA, 23–24 April 2026.
The workshop consists of two parts:
In the first part, participants gather to discuss surveillance and the dynamics of quotidian videography. They are encouraged to share personal experiences and ways of dealing with cameras in public and private space. As a result of these conversations, we co-develop a site-specific performance piece with the participants where we imagine and script different attitudes towards surveillance and technologies of image creation in general.
The second part of the workshop consists of enacting and filming the co-developed intervention in public space using a 360° camera.
The resulting video work (edited by adO/Aptive) seeks to critique, contextualize and locate perpetual surveillance in the times of late capitalism.
