Result of the open call for a one-year residency in the Kraví hora studios for one or two FFA alumni
New residents of the Open Studios Art Hub will be Pavol Godiška and Helena Ticháčková.Since 2021, the Open Studios Art Hub platform, in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology (FFA), has offered a one-year residency programme titled Inkubator. For a period of twelve months, two selected artists may use a studio space free of charge within the university campus at Kraví hora. The programme includes curatorial support, opportunities to present artistic work through exhibitions, and the chance to engage with artists, curators, gallerists, and other professionals from the field of contemporary art during lectures, discussions, panel debates, and other events organised under the auspices of Open Studios Art Hub.
The residency is intended for recent graduates of all FFA studios, which is a partner of the project. As part of the selection process for the fifth edition of the programme, the independent expert jury chose FFA alumni Pavol Godiška and Helena Ticháčková. They thus join the growing group of programme residents, among whom have been Daniela Ponomarevová, Terezie Rausová, Jan Bražina, Nela Maruškevič, Zuzana Bartošová, Martina Valchářová, Polina Davydenko, and Denisa Štefanigová.
