Daniela Ponomarevová is a finalist for the Critics' Award for Young Painting 2025
Daniela Ponomarevová, a doctoral student at FFA, is one of the finalists for the Critics' Award for Young Painting 2025 (Cena kritiky za mladou malbu). The award ceremony and exhibition opening will take place on Thursday, 23 October 2025, at 18:00 at the The National Library of Technology in Prague.The Critics' Award for Young Painting is an award aimed at supporting and promoting talented young artists under the age of 35. It was established in 2008 with the aim of facilitating the establishment of young personalities on the art scene, and since 2025 it has undergone an innovation that strengthens its significance and long-term sustainability. Each year, a jury of experts selects five finalists, one of whom receives the main award. The award aims to reflect current trends in painting and stimulate discussion about its direction.
