Position opening at FFA BUT: Lecturer at the Drawing and Printmaking Studio; app. deadline 28 Sep 2023

The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology is offering an academic position on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE) for an Assistant at the Drawing and Printmaking Studio, starting on October 1, 2023.

Job Description

  • Collaborating on the pedagogic leadership of the studio and ensuring its smooth operation.
  • Offering constructive feedback on students' work, including supervision and evaluating bachelor's and master's theses.
  • Keeping abreast of developments in artistic education and integrating innovative techniques into teaching practice.
  • Participating in the artistic and research activities of the faculty.

Requirements

  • Higher-education degree (Master's degree).
  • Fluent in spoken Czech/Slovak and English.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Teaching skills in the field of art.
