Valérie Macková, an FFA student, won an award in the CS.KOMIKS.25 competition
Valérie Macková, a student at the Faculty of Fine Arts, won a Special Jury Prize for Artistic Expression in the competition CS.KOMIKS.25 for her comic strip Ze života Rufusků – Jak se Dudu ztratil. CS.KOMIKS.25 is a comics competition for secondary-school, university, and college students in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, organised by the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at UTB in Zlín, the Rotary Club Brno City, the Rotary Club Zvolen, the Rotary Club Angoulême, and the Horácká Gallery in Nové Město na Moravě. This year’s competition received 76 entries. An exhibition of the winning works is on display at the Horácká Gallery until 29 March 2026.
