Open call for a graphic designer/graphic team at FFA for the academic year 2025/2026
The Faculty of Fine Arts is announcing an open call for a student or alumni team to develop a cohesive graphic identity and design for the faculty’s diverse promotional materials throughout the 2025/2026 academic year (from September 2025 to July 2026).
Initial scope of work (typically includes a set of materials – poster/flyer and social media banners):
- FaVU New Season / FFA New Season (September 2025)
- Symposium Rooted Everywhere (September 2025)
- Den otevřených dveří / Open House (November 2025)
- Enter FaVU / Enter FFA (January and June 2026)
- FFA Publishing promotional materials (Spring 2026)
- FFA Summer Schools (Summer 2026)
- Visual signage for temporary studio locations
- Materials for the admissions campaign, invitations to workshops, lectures, and potentially other events arising from the faculty’s public engagement activities (on an ongoing basis)
Please note: The scope does not include graphic materials for the FFA Gallery or for the graduate exhibition and its catalogue.
Remuneration:
Individual projects will typically be remunerated at CZK 6,000 per graphic design for a single event (set). The total estimated amount for the academic year is CZK 140,000 (paid based on ongoing invoicing).
Application requirements:
Applicants must upload samples of previous graphic work and a proposed outline for FFA’s visual identity for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Selection process:
The selected designer or team will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Vice-Dean for External Relations. The results will be announced by June 15, 2025.
