Basic information about the gallery:
FFA Gallery (Galerie FaVU) is a vibrant communication space for an emerging generation of artists and curators. It is an experimental laboratory for open dialogue with the academic environment and the public. It offers a background for professional presentation to young artists not only from the ranks of students and PhD students, but also graduates of art schools. The basic mission of the FFA Gallery is to present remarkable results in the field of visual, audiovisual and sound creation. During the renovation of its original premises on Údolní Street, FFA Gallery will be located in a 19th-century former distillery building at Pekařská 436/78 (in the former cultural centre Distillery). This space is situated in a courtyard within the busiest street of the Old Town of Brno ("Staré Brno"), within walking distance from the faculty buildings. Photos, floor plans and information about exhibition programme can be found here.
