FFA BUT at the PIE Internationalisation Community Meeting 2026 in Vilnius

From 3 to 5 June 2026, FFA BUT is taking part in the PIE Internationalisation Community Meeting 2026, held in Vilnius, Lithuania, and hosted by Vilnius Academy of Arts. The meeting is organised within ELIA – the European League of Institutes of the Arts, of which FFA BUT is also a member. FFA BUT is represented by Ján Podracký, Vice-Dean for Internationalisation.
This year’s edition, titled The Curriculum in Context, focuses on the relationship between internationalisation and curriculum in higher arts education. Through presentations, discussions and workshops, the programme explores both the formal and the so-called hidden curriculum: not only what is included in study plans and syllabi, but also how values, relationships, institutional cultures and international experiences shape everyday learning and teaching environments.
The topics of the meeting are closely connected to the long-term development of internationalisation at FFA BUT, particularly in relation to the internationalisation of study programmes, the development of international partnerships, student and staff mobility, international projects, and the support of an inclusive and open educational environment. Participation in the PIE Meeting also provides an opportunity to exchange experiences with other European art schools and to follow current approaches to internationalisation in contemporary higher arts education.
