Finissage and guided tour of the exhibition NO FATE, 22 July 2026 18:00, Galerie FaVU

We invite you to a guided tour of the exhibition NO FATE with artist Tristan Gac. The tour will take place on 22 July 2026 at 18:00 at Galerie FaVU (FFA Gallery). At 19:00, the exhibition will conclude with a site-specific live session by musician and artist NOWALOVER, and musician and visual artist cera krisanaa. Their collaborative live set will respond to the gallery space, drawing inspiration from Tristan’s works and the atmosphere of Terminator 2. Through flickering, robot-like bodies, they guide the audience through processes of transformation and traces of residual humanity.

NO FATE is a solo exhibition by Brussels-based artist Tristan Gac. It showcases a new body of work in which coloured pencil drawings meet futuristic frames and bas-reliefs. Taking inspiration from the scene of Sarah Connor’s iconic nightmare in Terminator 2, the exhibition centres on flowers amidst a backdrop of doom. The pieces capture the fleeting moment of catastrophe and its despairing aftermath, perpetuating the visual imagery of a science fiction-like apocalypse.
NOWALOVER (Matej Geleta)

primarily creates one-time site-specific installations focused on sound and its performative potential. His practice explores ways of making a place present through its fragments, field recordings, and spatial relationships. An essential part of his work is original music production and collaboration with other artists, contributing musical compositions, sound design, and audio post-production.
cera krisanaa is the musical project of audiovisual artist Kristýna Popirecinii. Using field recordings, synthesizers, and her voice, she creates immersive sonic landscapes where ambient merges with noise, revealing a sensitive perspective that explores the relationship between inner and outer worlds. The intensity of her sound reflects a process of confronting grief and perhaps finding a way to move beyond it. Alongside her music practice, she creates music videos and short films that incorporate performative elements.
NOWALOVER and cera krisanaa are active members of the favulabel collective. In their free time, Kristýna and Matej play the piano together, compose music, and enjoy spending time together as friends.

The project is realised with the financial support of the Statutory City of Brno and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
