Profile

On the grounds of compulsory exams and seminars, the bachelor is provided with the sum of knowledge and skills which enable him/her to independently seek, find and process information related to the conceptually understood discipline of Artist´s Book. He/she is able to analyze given phenomena and include them into historic and cultural contexts. In the studio work, the bachelor comes out from the traditional technologies of paper and book creation, in the direct connection to the complex semantics which is carried by these media.

Key learning outcomes

The BA graduate has a general knowledge of theory nad history of art, philosophy, aesthetics, and technologies essential for artistic development, communication, and presentation. He is aware of graphic design history, theory, and contemporary tendencies, and they have mastered the technological skills both on the material and software level. He is able to carry out designs according to the commission or assignment.

Occupational profiles of graduates with examples

Graduates are informed about the history and contemporary trends of their field and they have the skills to work both in classical and digital media as ad designers, book and magazines designers, or web designers. They are able to work independently or within a graphic studio regime.
