An interactive video installation responding to the presence and behavior of visitors, based on image-forming texts, presents a natural selection from several hundred thousand notes, ideas, micro-dramas, real-life situations, theories, and pieces of information in the form of a joke. Over the past years, Tomáš Moravanský has been painting these into the media landscape as part of his research carried out during his Free Time. The opening will include the artist’s new stand-up performance.
Tomáš Moravanský (*1991, Dubnica nad Váhom), also known as Panáčik, is a post-contemporary artist whose practice unfolds at the intersections of visual art, sociological and artistic research, performance, choreography, text, music, situations, scenographic and site-specific interventions, theory, mail-art, and stand-up. Moravanský lives in Brno and works internationally. He is the co-founder and director of the platform INSTITUT INSTITUT.
