Computer Basics

FaVU-ZVT-ZAcad. year: 2025/2026

The course acquaints students with the basics of work with PCs. It teaches them to create portfolios in the electronic form, to work with a text editor and pictures (including the scanning of artistic model), to organize and save data, including the burning of CDs. Summer semester is focused on the creation of websites for the purpose of presentations on the Internet.

Aims

The course acquaints students with the basics of work with PCs. It teaches them to create portfolios in the electronic form, to work with a text editor and pictures, to organize and save data, including the burning of CDs.

- processor, computing memory, input and output devices, floppy disk drive, hard disk, CD drive
- PC construction, flexibility
- basics of the work with text editor, text processor and spreadsheet processor
- basicss of work with electronic mail
