In this course students will be introduced to a freely available and versatile digital creation tool (Blender). Students will become familiar with the tool's environment and through hands-on exercises will learn techniques for modeling, animation, rigging, simulation, lighting and rendering.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Credit awarded on the basis of attendance (compulsory attendance) and completion of assignments.
Attendance is compulsory (2 unexcused absences are accepted).

Aims

The aim of the course is to explain the principles of Blender and to give learners the tools to create digital content independently.
Students will gain a general overview of Blender's capabilities and features.
