SUMMER SCHOOLS FFA 2025: Summer School of 2D Animation
Summer schools FFA are an opportunity to spend part of the summer creatively. During the summer schools, you will learn about artistic techniques, develop your creative skills, and meet interesting people. Summer schools FFA are intended for the general public, beginners with an interest and passion for art, and those interested in future studies at art schools, who can thus familiarize themselves with the FFA environment and use the summer schools as part of their preparation for entrance exams.
SUMMER SCHOOL OF 2D ANIMATION
During the Summer School, participants will have the opportunity to explore animation as a playful and creative way of working with movement. They can experiment with the illusion of bringing digital drawings to life and hone their intuition in constructing movement. The Summer School emphasizes finding ideas and developing the ability to translate imagination into moving images, discovering new creative principles, and loosening up the hand when drawing. Each participant will produce several animation exercises.
Summer school will be held in Czech.

→ First session: 1 July – 3 July 2025
→ Second session: 11 July – 13 July 2025
Scope: 20 teaching hours, Day 1 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Days 2 and 3 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break
Venue: FFA BUT, Úvoz 33, building U1, room no. 301
Price: CZK 2,800
The Summer School fee includes all materials and art supplies.
Cancellation policy:
If you are unable to attend the Summer School, you can find a replacement for yourself. If you cancel your registration 14 days before the start of the Summer School (according to the individual start dates of the Summer Schools), the organizer will charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the total amount paid. In case of later cancellation, the fees paid will not be refunded.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel some Summer Schools in case of insufficient number of participants. In case of cancellation of the Summer School by the organizer, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
