Internal Open Call for Participation in the Designblok 2026 Festival, app. deadline 20 Sep 2026
FFA BUT is announcing an open call for participation in the international Designblok festival, which will take place from October 6 to 11, 2026.
FFA BUT will participate in this year’s edition with an exhibition at the UMPRUM Technology Center, where it will present versatile furniture designed and produced in collaboration between the Product Design Studio and the Game Media Studio. The vertically oriented modular exhibition system is based on the principle of an arbor, whose functionality is translated into sliding cassettes that allow selected objects from various disciplines to be safely displayed and viewed from all sides.
The call is open to all students across all studios.
Submitted works and projects must meet the following requirements based on the proportions of the exhibition space:
- paintings, drawings, prints: min. 15 × 20 cm, max. 80 × 160 cm
- objects, textiles: max. 80 × 160 × 20/30 cm
Submit your application via the Google Form by September 20, 2026. Samples of the submitted works must be uploaded to the form.
Selection will be made by a committee appointed by the Vice-Dean for External Relations and Exhibition Activity. The results of the selection will be announced no later than September 25, 2026.
