Jan Šrámek is the author of the Bechyně Bridge Rainbow postage stamp
The Czech Post has unveiled a commemorative postage stamp featuring the Bechyně Bridge Rainbow, designed by Jan Šrámek, a lecturer at the FFA. The stamp depicts the Bridge Rainbow with the silhouette of the town of Bechyně in the background. A class 113 electric locomotive with Btn passenger carriages is crossing the bridge. The designer chose a motif that clearly shows both the bridge itself as an important urban element in the city's panorama and the origin of its name, Duha (Rainbow). The stamp has a print run of 1.5 million copies and is available at selected branches and the Czech Post e-shop. The typography was designed by Karel Bařina.
