Unveiling of Michaela Mráčková's painting, 18 Nov 2025 15:00, Táborského nábřeží Brno

On Tuesday, 18 November 2025 at 15:00, ceremony will be held on the Brno riverbank (Táborského Embankment, near the Convent of the Sisters of St. Elizabeth) to unveil a large-scale abstract painting by Michaela Mráčková, a student of the Painting Studio 3 at FFA. The painting was created under the guidance of Patricia Fexová, tutor of the studio. The author, Michaela Mráčková, conceived her work as a visual allusion to the flow of water and projected her personal experience of limited vision into her work, using not only visual but also tactile and auditory perception, which lend her work exceptional sensitivity. The painting was initiated by the Brno-střed City Council, which, in cooperation with the Office of the Architect of the City of Brno and the Department of Culture of the Brno City Hall, commissioned by the Brno House of Arts. The painting became part of the Brno House of Arts' ongoing Out of the House project, which creates a wide variety of works of art for the city's public spaces. Complete information can be found here.
