Workshop with an award-winning photography duo SHOTBY.US (Lenka Glisníková and Karolína Matušková), April 3–4, 2025, FFA BUT, Údolní 53, Brno, U1 202, 10:00–12:30 and 14:30–17:00.
Specialising in fashion photography, SHOTBY.US works at the intersection of fine art and applied art. Known for their engaging visual storytelling, their expressive image composites are filled with playful energy, bold colour palettes, imaginative compositions, and unconventional concepts. Their signature aesthetic incorporates humour and visual mystification to challenge and delight viewers. The hands-on workshop workshop Materials in Conversation – to CUT / to LAYER / to PAINT will focus on intuitive material work and collaborative creation. The aim is to unlock creative potential, overcome artistic blocks, and emphasize process over outcome. Through practical exercises and discussion, participants will explore various roles in the creative process while engaging with concepts such as material, environment, sculpture, scenography, set design, props, and documentation.
