Announcement of Results of the Selection Procedure for the Position of Leading teacher(s) at the Visiting Artists’ Studio (2026/2027)
The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology (FFA BUT) announced, on 30 November 2025, a selection procedure to fill the academic position(s) of Leading teacher(s) at the Visiting Artists’ Studio, for two separate periods: the Winter semester 2026/2027 (October 2026 – January 2027) and the Summer semester 2026/2027 (February 2027 – June 2027), with a maximum total workload of 1.0 FTE for each period; see www.favu.vut.cz/en//f24415/d311324.
A total of 19 applications were received. The selection committee – composed of Šárka Zahálková, Jan Zálešák, Václav Magid, Mikuláš Macháček, Ján Podracký and Valentýna Janů – decided, in accordance with Article 17 of the BUT Selection Procedure Rules, to conduct the selection procedure in two rounds. The Dean decided, in line with the recommendation of the selection committee, on the final result as follows: Martin Chramosta was selected for the Winter semester 2026/2027 (October 2026 – January 2027), and George Ramsay Finlay was selected for the Summer semester 2026/2027 (February 2027 – June 2027).
