Studio II - Product Design - summer

FaVU-B2PD-LAcad. year: 2023/2024

The students are assigned three tasks from which at least one is presented by a physical model or a functional prototype. A thematic area is defined and the student participates in the assignment specification. Students are introduced through workshops with other technologies supporting designing: 3D scanning, rapid prototyping, CNC working.

Knowledge of basic technological and artistic principles of the studied subject.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

Semester exam project.
Lessons are mandatory.

Aims

The student is led to rational and efficient use of acquired knowledge and his own talent. Especially for common studio themes, students are led to open criticism, and at the same time towards cooperative attitude in the studio work.
Individual and artistic approach to the technologies of the studied subject.
