Autorská kniha Ohrožené druhy představuje soubor 37 grafik Jana Šrámka zobrazující významné stavby Československé architektury z období let 1953–1989. Na kresbách jsou zachyceny kromě ikonických budov jako např. OD Ještěd, Transgas, atd., také méně známé stavby pocházející z regionů. Důraz je kladen především na ohrožené nebo již odstraněné budovy (Mazutka, Prior Brno, kulturní dům v Plzni, atd). Součástí knihy je odborný text Ladislava Jacksona. Cílem publikace je upozornit na problematiku památkové ochrany tuzemských staveb z poválečného období. Projekt autorské knihy Ohrožené druhy navazuje na předešlou publikaci Zvláštní okolnosti, za kterou získal autor ocenění Ilustrátor roku v soutěži Czech Grand Design 2017. Kniha vychází v nakladatelství FaVU VUT a PageFive.

English abstract

The author's book Endangered Species presents a collection of 37 graphic works by Jan Šrámek depicting significant buildings of Czechoslovak architecture from the period 1953–1989. In addition to iconic buildings such as OD Ještěd, Transgas, etc., the drawings also depict lesser-known buildings from the regions. The emphasis is primarily on endangered or already removed buildings (Mazutka, Prior Brno, the cultural center in Pilsen, etc.). The book includes a professional text by Ladislav Jackson. The aim of the publication is to draw attention to the issue of monument protection of domestic buildings from the post-war period. The author's book Endangered Species project follows on from the previous publication Special Circumstances, for which the author received the Illustrator of the Year award in the Czech Grand Design 2017 competition. The book is published by FaVU BUT and PageFive.
