Original Abstract
This paper describes a method for determining the initial values of the parameters of the impedance model of Li-Ion battery. The initial parameters are important for subsequent fitting the model to experimental data. The method is based on interactive analysis of impedance circuits, where the corresponding software tool automatically updates the circuit solution in the frequency domain after user’s modification of the circuit. It is thus possible to immediately evaluate the effect of this change on the impedance characteristic of the battery and to make these changes in a targeted manner to achieve a good match between the model and the measured characteristics. It is shown on the example of a SPICE-like simulation program that a good parameter estimation can be achieved in this way even without using standard least-square-method fitting tools.
