Original Abstract
We introduce a novel optical system, consisting of three non-parallel ideal lenses. This device provides mapping of the object space, coinciding with a rotation around a line, where planes of all three lenses intersect. The image can be rotated by any angle within a range (0, 2π). Our proposed device, which we have called three-lens image rotator (TLIR), could form the basis of novel applications, e.g. simulating curved spaces.
