Original Abstract

Travel facilitates the transmission of disease from areas a↵ected by the virus to those less a↵ected since the amount of contacts rises substantially. We suggest a mathematical model where susceptible cohort is split into two groups, those who currently travel and those who do not. Stability of infection-free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium is discussed and illustrated with numerical simulations.
