Poezin is an irregularly published literary zine featuring texts by contemporary authors who explore a fragile, sensitive and subtle form of engagement. The second issue, subtitled Všichni jsme Dívka (We are all Girl), focuses on the commodification of culture and the need to find a place of one’s own. The texts are interwoven with quotations from feminist and post-work literature, reminding us why it is important not only to organize, but to do so intelligently, strategically and with the courage to have ambitious aspirations. The issue is complemented by illustrations by visual artist Tereza Hlaváčová.
Poezin 02 follows the pilot issue, subtitled Tá feministka je pokrytec (That Feminist Is a Hypocrite), which was published in 2023 in collaboration with the risograph studio KudlaWerkstatt and explored corporeality and gendered objectification.
