Xenofeminism by Vít Bohal, lecture, 14 March 2022 12:00 (U2/326)
The seminar will focus on the contemporary resonances of xenofeminism, as recently compiled in the collection (Xeno)feministická čítanka (Display, 2021). Analyzing two texts by Amy Ireland and Helen Hester, we will inquire about XF's relevance to social feminism, aliennes and alienation, and the horizon of the posthuman. The lecture will take place in English. Vít Bohal is a member of the Diffractions Import/Export Collective and a PhD candidate at the Center for Critical Cultural Theory at Prague`s Charles University.
