Autonomous Together

In theirs lecture, Colin Self will introduce the background and methods of XOIR, a vocal practice of group-singing focused on somatic awareness and collective organizing, as opposed to memorizing and reciting notes in the binary Western tradition. The lecture will guide us to the principles of XOIR practice and examples of its implementation during the Sibling tour, which intersected with the group singing model, and how this connects with Colin Self's next project.
