SUMMER SCHOOLS FFA 2025: Summer School of Movement and Critical Thinking

Summer schools FFA are an opportunity to spend part of the summer creatively. During the summer schools, you will learn about artistic techniques, develop your creative skills, and meet interesting people. Summer schools FFA are intended for the general public, beginners with an interest and passion for art, and those interested in future studies at art schools, who can thus familiarize themselves with the FFA environment and use the summer schools as part of their preparation for entrance exams.

SUMMER SCHOOL OF MOVEMENT AND CRITICAL THINKING – Movement Laboratory: weak women dance
Would you like to hug longer than usual? Would you slowly melt to the ground and remain lying on top of each other? Would you slow down time and feel parasympathetic excitement? How much support do you give to others and how much do you need yourself?
The movement laboratory will focus on the issues of critical thinking in dance and performance, body politics and relationships, neoliberal tendencies in self-care techniques, and somatic dance. Together, we will look at these problematic areas of dance education and offer you tools to get closer to collectivity, cooperation, and belonging in times of social and environmental crises.
Summer School instructors Eva Priečková and Zuzana Žabková have several years of experience with expanded choreography, movement improvisation, creative work, touch work, active imagination, critical thinking, and group facilitation, ensuring that all voices are heard equally, especially those struggling with persistent oppression and indifference.

Summer school will be held in Czech.
