The publication "European Adolf Loos. Not only Brno traces" won 2nd place in the Museum Publication of the Year 2020 competition
In the national competition for museums Gloria musaealis, the publication "The European Adolf Loos. Not only Brno Traces, which was published at the end of 2020 by the Brno City Museum in cooperation with the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Adolf Loos' birth. The editors of the book are Jindřich Chatrný and Dagmar Černoušková from the Brno City Museum and Jana Kořínková from the Faculty of Fine Arts, currently the director of the university publishing house VUTIUM.The award ceremony took place on 17 June 2021 at the Municipal House in Prague. The main competition categories are Museum Exhibition of the Year, Museum Publication of the Year, Museum Achievement of the Year and a special category is the ICOM Czech Committee Award. In the Museum Publications category, 33 books were evaluated, of which 4 won awards.
