  • The Dean's Award is granted annually to graduates of both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for exceptional final theses. The decision to grant the award is made by the Dean of the faculty, based on recommendations from the examination committee for the state final examination. The announcement and presentation of the award is part of the programme for both the Bachelor's and Master's graduation ceremonies. The award consists of a monetary reward (scholarship or gift) and a commemorative item, which is prepared by fellow students each time. The Dean’s Award for selected graduates also includes a one-month residency at the Nová Perla Art Centre. The current leadership of the faculty does not perceive the tradition of the Dean’s Award as promoting competition among students, but rather as an extension of financial support for students (an area that the faculty management has focused on in recent years).
  • The Rector's Award for graduates and students is granted based on a proposal from the Dean by the Rector of the university. The announcement and presentation of the award is also part of the programme for both the Bachelor's and Master's graduation ceremonies and takes the form of a monetary gift. The current leadership of the faculty does not perceive the tradition of the Rector’s Award as promoting competition among students, but rather as an extension of financial support for students (an area that the faculty management has focused on in recent years).
  • The Josef Hlávka Award is granted annually by the Josef, Marie, and Zdenka Hlávka Foundation, based on nominations from individual public universities. The nomination by the Dean of the faculty is approved by the university leadership. The Josef Hlávka Award includes a certificate and a monetary sum provided by the Foundation.
