Touch of My Essence is a zine created by the student collective Slová do prázdna (Words into the Void), serving as a poetic and visual record of the opening of the exhibition of the same name and its literary program at the DIY gallery space byt11 in Prague. The publication interweaves poetry, performative text, and imagery into a fragmentary reportage capturing the event through subjective experience, atmosphere, and collective memory.
The text section brings together works by Eliotté P. Joel, Tomáš Zemka, Dorota Suránová, and Alex Kozlovský. The publication is accompanied by visual contributions from the artists exhibiting in the exhibition Touch of My Essence: Nina Böttcherová, Eva Ungvári, Viktória Luisa Pokorná, Alma Sedláková, Felix Prochádzka, and Zuzana Rakociová. The individual contributions create a shared space at the intersection of documentary, poetic record, and visual archive.

Slová do prázdna (Words into the Void) is a student association at the Faculty of Fine Arts BUT, which functions as an open interdisciplinary collective working with poetry, performance, music, and visual art. The zine builds on the current DIY and collective publishing strategies of the young art scene in Brno and Prague, where text becomes not only a medium of record, but also a situation, a gesture, and a space for sharing.
